WHERE TO STAY

The Goldener Hirsch Auberge Hotel, an alpine haven offering a seamless blend of timeless European charm and contemporary luxury, is also home to our exclusive pop-up chalet-style bar this season. After a day on the slopes, unwind with curated cocktails in a cozy, mountain-inspired setting. Don’t miss the rooftop hot tub, where you can relax with panoramic views of the Wasatch Range.

The St. Regis Deer Valley is another option, a newer addition to the resort it offers ski-in/ski-out access, plus a novel funicular railway to swiftly transport you up the slopes. Given its private location, it offers everything you might need on site, from a ski valet station, to an in-house après spot and spa.

The Montage is known for its spectacular vista views (many rooms come with a terrace and personal fire pit) and all-day après offering in their Après Lounge. The views are accessible even from the spa, the ‘alpine-inspired oasis’ has a redwood sauna, open fires and a detailed menu of treatments. It’s accessible for the day too, even if you’re staying elsewhere. WHAT TO DO

When skiing, boarding and spa days start to wear thin (unlikely, but you never know), there are some alternative activity options available to you in both locations. Nearby Park City is home to the High West Distillery, Utah’s first whiskey distillery since the 1870s. Make a date for a tour and tasting – you can ski directly to the door.

If you’re committed to staying outdoors, you may want to try a snowmobile tour. Not for the faint-hearted, it takes place on a private ranch, with amazing views of the surrounding Wasatch Mountains. A guaranteed moment-making experience.

And, of course, the skiing at Deer Valley is nothing short of spectacular. Bald Mountain is renowned for its flawless grooming and diverse terrain, perfect for skiers of all levels. Empire Canyon is a haven for advanced skiers, with black diamond runs that will challenge even the most seasoned athletes. Flagstaff Mountain offers a more relaxed experience, with wide runs and breathtaking valley views—ideal for families or those looking for a gentler pace. Lady Morgan Bowl is the ultimate destination for off-piste enthusiasts, offering exciting tree runs and untouched powder.

WHERE TO EAT

Deer Valley’s Fireside Dining offers a full-service alpine experience, with raclette and roasts served straight from the stone fireplace. They also offer a horse-drawn sleigh ride experience to transport you to dinner – a must for family trips.

Riverhorse on Main has been a local staple for over 35 years, with an eclectic seasonal menu in an elevated-meets-rustic setting.

For lunch on the slopes, try Royal Street Café for tacos and burgers with the most scenic of views or visit Tekler Club, a favourite among skiers. Known for its hearty cuisine and impeccable service, it's the ideal spot to refuel before heading back to the pistes.

Dinner at Le Depot Brasserie is a must—this vibrant French brasserie, curated by James Beard Chef, offers a perfect blend of delicious French fare and a welcoming atmosphere. Located at 660 Main, it’s the ideal place to end your day with friends or loved ones.

For a truly elevated dining experience, Goldener Hirsch offers a masterfully curated menu of innovative dishes that celebrate both Alpine traditions and local flavours. This sophisticated setting is perfect for a memorable evening in Deer Valley.

This season, we’ve partnered with Goldener Hirsch to bring you an elevated après-ski experience in Deer Valley. As you enter their seasonal Après Chalet, you’ll be greeted by our custom outdoor bar, setting the tone for an unforgettable après experience. Inside, two Christmas trees are adorned with bespoke ornaments, including skis, puffer jackets, and our signature North Star. Outside, the mountain views are framed by our houndstooth-patterned sling chairs, layered with sheepskin, and plush pillows to make your relaxation that much more stylish.

To complete the moment, we’ve crafted a special Perfect Moment cocktail to pair perfectly with Goldener Hirsch’s renowned fondue and Bavarian pretzels. It’s the perfect setting for moment making after a day on the slopes.
